Brooke White, Michael Johns -- ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) and the Red Cross

Someone special in our family passed away last year due to ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). I also used to volunteer with the Red Cross years ago. So both of those causes are special to me.

If you watch American Idol, you know that Michael Johns and Brooke White were finalists this past 2008 season. Michael Johns posted this duet he recorded with Brooke called "Life is Okay". If you download the song from iTunes, the proceeds go to ALS and the Red Cross. Michael Johns met and has become friends with Nancy O'Dell and these are her favorite charities.
